Lute Olson headlines hoops camps
Former Arizona men’s basketball coach Lute Olson is among the staff at this week’s Channing Frye & Friends Summer Basketball Camps.
Also on staff are Frye, who plays for the Phoenix Suns, and Al Jefferson from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Frye’s foundation, the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii and Spalding Clubhouse are co-sponsors of the sessions that will be held Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Participants entering grades 3 through 8 will be at Manoa Valley District Park Gym, while those entering grades 9 through 12 will be at McKinley High. The cost is $110 per day.
