Hawaii in regional championship

Nick Au, Taylyn Kimura and Colby Hirano each hit home runs as Hawaii X-Factor won two games to reach the 11-12 year olds Pacific Southwest Region championship game of Cal Ripken baseball at Nephi, Utah, yesterday.

Hawaii scored six runs in the final inning to beat Arizona 6-5 in the morning and followed it up with a 13-8 win over Utah.

Hawaii will have to beat Visalia, Calif., twice today to win the championship.
