The state Elections Office said this morning it will be sending out new ballots by tomorrow to some 1,600 absentee voters in two precincts of Portlock-Hawaii Kai to correct omissions on ballots sent out Tuesday.

A misprint by the vendor caused the State Senate District 25 race to be left out on Republican and Democratic ballots.

The error did not affect other precincts in the district, which also includes Kailua and Waimanalo.

Voters who receive the corrected ballots are urged to mail in the new ballots, even though they may have already voted.
