UH piano professor Jonathan Korth will perform a trio for piano, horn and
clarinet by Carl Reinecke, a little-known but highly influential composer of
the mid to late 19th century. He plays and discusses a few excerpts from
this unusual work. Chamber Music Hawaii opens its season with a performance
of this work and a Beethoven string trio Sunday at the Doris Duke Theatre,
with a repeat performance Monday at Paliku Theatre.
