The state Office of Elections is setting up a drop-off box for absentee ballots at the State Capitol on primary election day, Saturday.

Absentee ballots can be dropped off from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., when statewide polling places close.

The drop-off site will be located in front of the Saint Damien statue on Beretania Street.

The drop-off site is for voted ballots only. No voting equipment or ballots will be at the drop-off site.

Voters may also drop absentee ballots at polling places on election day.
