A 54-year-old man had his car stolen after a man knocked him in the head with a beer bottle Monday morning in Wahiawa.

Police said that at about 2 a.m., a 46-year-old man hit the man with the bottle, then continued punching and kicking the man as he walked to his vehicle. 

The man fell to the ground and got up to find his keys and vehicle missing, police said.

About 1 p.m. Monday, a patrol officer stopped a 32-year-old Nanakuli man driving the victim’s vehicle on Hoihoi Avenue in Whitmore Village and found drugs inside.

The man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery and several drug offenses.
