» Michael Shumate, a teacher at Kalanianaole Elementary & Intermediate School on the Big Island, was one of 44 Hawaii teachers who attained national certification this year. His surname was misspelled and a different school named on Page B6 Wednesday. The online edition has been corrected.
» Round-trip tickets on Continental Airlines’ new service to Hilo start at $625 from Los Angeles and $650 from San Francisco if purchased 14 days in advance. The fares do not include taxes. A Page B6 article yesterday said the fares did include taxes. The online edition has been corrected.
» Homeowners who want to challenge city tax assessments should contact the Real Property Assessment Division at 768-3799. Information on Page B1 yesterday said owners should contact the Treasury Division. The online edition is correct.
