Police responding to high school alarm discover man allegedly driving stolen vehicle with drug pipe

Police officers responding to an alarm at a Waianae-area high school discovered a 43-year-old man allegedly driving a stolen vehicle that had a glass pipe with drug residue on the front seat, police said.

The front license plate on the vehicle had been altered, police said.

The man was seen on the campus at 4:55 a.m. Friday and was arrested for investigation of driving stolen vehicle and drug possession at 10:55 p.m. yesterday, police said.

Police returned the stolen vehicle to its owner.
