MEN’S BASKETBALL

» Willamette (Ore.) junior Taylor Mounts (‘Iolani ’08) sank the game-winning 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds remaining to give the Bearcats a 90-88 win over Linfield (Ore.) on Friday. Mounts finished with a game-high 27 points on 10-for-14 shooting. He added a team-high 19 points and six rebounds in an 80-76 win over Pacific (Ore.) on Saturday.

» Trinity (Tex.) freshman Matt Feldman (Punahou ’10) finished with six points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal in a win over Millsaps College on Friday. Feldman is third in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in steals with 38 in 21 games.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

» Utah sophomore guard Iwalani Rodrigues (Kalani ’08) finished with 13 points on 6-for-13 shooting and three rebounds in a 71-52 win over UNLV on Feb. 1. Junior forward Jamie Smith (‘Iolani ’08) had eight points, five rebounds and two assists for the Rebels.

» Concordia (Calif.) senior Nicole Fu (Maryknoll ’07) was named the Golden State Athletic Conference player of the week on Monday. In three games last week, Fu averaged 18.3 points, seven rebounds and three assists to lead the Eagles to three wins. Concordia received 22 votes in the weekly NAIA Coaches Top 25 Poll.

» Cal State Northridge senior Analee Viena-Lota (Kamehameha ’07) finished with 13 points, six rebounds and two assists and Violet Alama (Kalani ’09) added six points, four assists and two rebounds in an 82-72 win over UC Irvine on Saturday. Guard Janelle Nomura (Punahou ’09) added seven points and three assists off the bench for the Matadors, who snapped a nine-game losing streak.

» Pacific (Ore.) sophomore guard Kristen Corrales (Kailua ’08) had seven points, five assists and four rebounds and Ashley Jacobs (Kailua ’09) chipped in five points, three rebounds and two steals off the bench in a 58-57 loss to Willamette (Ore.) on Saturday.

WOMEN’S TENNIS

» Cal State Northridge senior Brooke Doane (Kamehameha ’07) won her doubles match in the No. 1 position but lost in No. 1 singles to Alexa Lee, 6-0, 3-6 6-2, as Cal Poly defeated the Matadors 6-1 on Sunday.

» Redlands (Calif.) senior Sara Yoshinaga (‘Iolani ’07) won her doubles match and defeated Grace Marroquin 6-0, 6-0 in No. 3 singles to help the Bulldogs defeat Hope International 9-0 on Saturday.

MEN’S TRACK AND FIELD

» Idaho State sophomore Bryce Jenkins (Leilehua ’09) took fifth place in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:48.36 at the Montana State Invitational on Friday.

WOMEN’S TRACK AND FIELD

» Dartmouth sophomore Joy Piotrowski (Punahou ’09) placed first in the triple jump at 36 feet, 9 inches and sixth in the long jump (16-10 1/2 ) at the Dartmouth Classic Invitational on Saturday.

WOMEN’S SWIMMING

» Siena (N.Y.) senior Nicole Hagi (Kapolei ’07) won the 1,000 freestyle in 11:00.72 and finished second in the 500 free (5:24.14) and third in the 200 butterfly (2:15.83) in a 165-133 dual-meet victory over Fairfield (Conn.) on Saturday. Stags junior Michelle Yoshida (Punahou ’08) won four events, including the 100 backstroke (58.38), 50 free (24.49) and 100 free (53.42). She also swam the lead leg on the winning 400 medley relay team (4:03.93).

» Boise State sophomore Jennifer Cahill (Baldwin ’09) won both the 500 free (5:07.23) and 1,000 freestyle (10:31.52) races in a dual-meet win over Seattle University and Oregon State on Saturday. Sophomore Shanelle Choi (Pearl City ’09) took second place in the 200 freetyle (1:54.31) for the Broncos.

MEN’S VOLLEYBALL

» Brigham Young middle blocker Futi Tavana (Kauai ’05) had seven kills, six block assists and three digs in a three-set victory over UCLA on Saturday. Tavana had eight kills, five block assists and two solo blocks in a four-set victory over the Bruins on Friday.

» Stanford junior outside hitter Brad Lawson (‘Iolani ’08) hit .448 with 18 kills, four digs and three aces, and Spencer McLachlin (Punahou ’07) had 11 kills, three digs and an ace in a four-set victory over Loyola Chicago on Saturday. Junior libero Erik Shoji (Punahou ’08) added a team-high five digs for the Cardinal.

» Hope International senior Mana Guerreiro (Kalaheo ’06) hit .238 with 10 kills, eight digs and an ace in a four-set victory over Lindenwood on Friday. Henry Valiente (Farrington ’02) added seven digs and three assists, freshman John Byrd (Pahoa ’10) had two kills and a block assist, and Chase Suzumoto (Kalani ’10) had eight digs for the Royals.

WOMEN’S WATER POLO

» Pacific (Calif.) senior Dara Tawarahara (‘Iolani ’07) scored a team-high three goals to lead the Tigers to a 7-6 win over Cal State East Bay on Saturday.

» UC San Diego senior attacker Hanalei Crowell (Kamehameha ’07) scored two goals in a 9-8 victory over Long Beach State on Friday.

» Harvard sophomore Aisha Price (Punahou ’09) led the Crimson with four goals, three steals and two assists and Shayna Price (Punahou ’10) added two goals and five steals in a 23-2 win over Boston College on Saturday. Harvard finished 3-0 for the day with a 17-7 victory over Iona and a 20-5 victory over Villanova. Aisha finished with nine goals, seven steals and six assists and Shayna had five goals, six steals and four assists in the three games combined.

» Stanford senior goalkeeper Kim Hall (Punahou ’07) made four saves in a 16-4 win over San Jose State on Sunday. The Cardinal defeated Southern California 10-9 in triple overtime to finish 4-0 in the Stanford Invitational.

MEN’S WRESTLING

» Air Force senior Kazden Ikehara (Kamehameha ’07) placed fourth at 184 pounds at the All-Academy Championships, hosted by The Citadel, on Sunday.

WOMEN’S WRESTLING

» Missouri Baptist freshman Mei Ling Keiki (Pearl City ’10) won all four of her matches to become the national champion at 72 kilograms at the 2011 Women’s College Wrestling Association National Championships on Jan. 30.
