A 52-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly fired a handgun at his 27-year-old nephew.

Police were called to a Hale­iwa Road home at about 11:33 a.m. Saturday.

The suspect, whom the police believe was drinking, and his nephew got into an argument, and the suspect told his nephew to leave the home.

As the nephew packed, the suspect allegedly brandished a handgun and fired it at the nephew. There were no injuries and police were called.

The suspect was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree assault.
