Sea Warriors sweep in baseball
Hawaii Pacific designated hitter Blake Amaral drove in a run in each game and the Sea Warriors swept Dixie State 3-0 and 4-2 at Hans L’Orange yesterday.
Amaral, who returned from an injury for this series, had run-scoring singles in each game as the Sea Warriors improved to 16-15, 13-7 in the PacWest. The Red Hawks dropped to 20-12 and 15-8.
Peter Ibanez shut out Dixie State on two hits over seven innings in the first game and Brent Queen allowed two runs over nine innings in the nightcap.
