» The 19th Annual World Fireknife Championship competition will be held at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday (preliminaries) and Thursday (junior division, semifinals and open group) at the Polynesian Cultural Center’s Pacific Theater, and 7:30 p.m. Friday and next Saturday (finals during intermission of "Ha: Breath of Life" show both nights, with awards at 9 p.m. next Saturday). Incorrect dates were given in a caption and a schedule of events on Page 5 of yesterday’s TGIF. Also, rock band Big Dog will perform from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the Lakeside Lanai at Kemoo Farms. A listing on Page 13 of TGIF gave a different start time.
» Broadway Seafood & Oyster Bar at 903 Keeaumoku St. is open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 5 p.m. to midnight Mondays to Sundays. The restaurant’s phone number is 946-1888. The "Weekly Eater" review on Page D3 Wednesday had incorrect hours and an incorrect phone number.
