Big Island police look for trailer stolen in North Kona

Hawaii County police are asking for help in locating a trailer stolen over the weekend in Ninole in North Kona.

Police said the trailer was taken sometime between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Monday from Waikaumalo Park.

The black Big Text hydraulic lift utility trailer, valued at $13,000, has a bent left rear drop-down ramp. Its license plate number is 924HYY.

Anyone with information is asked to call officer Daniel Jelsma at 962-2120 or the police nonenmergency line at 935-3311. Anonymous tipsters may call CrimeStoppers at 961-8300 or 329-8181.
