Warning siren being tested today at Sea Life Park
The city Department of Emergency Management in conjunction with Hawaii State Civil Defense will test an outdoor warning siren between 9 a.m. and noon today at Sea Life Park in Makapuu.
The test is being conducted to ensure that the siren is operating at full power and providing optimal range.
Residents and businesses in the surrounding communities may hear the steady siren tone during the test and should not be alarmed, the agencies said.
