Hawaii County police are asking for help in locating a 41-year-old man who was reported missing after he went kayaking. 

Lance Oliver of Kailua-Kona was last seen on Nov. 22 at Kahalu’u Beach Park. Police say he was scheduled to travel north along the coast to the Mahukona Beach area, south to the Pu’uhonua O Honaunau City of Refuge, then return to Kahalu’u Beach Park around Dec. 12. 

Oliver is described as being 6 feet, 2 inches, about 200 pounds with a muscular build and short brown hair. He left in an inflatable boat or kayak. 

Oliver had no cell phone or other form of communication with him. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hawaii Police Department at (808) 935-3311.
