Manager catches woman burglarizing Leeward Drive-Inn
Police arrested a 24-year-old homeless woman Sunday after a restaurant manager caught her burglarizing the Leeward Drive-Inn in Waipahu, police said.
The Pupukahi Street restaurant had closed for the day, but the manager returned several hours later and saw a woman searching the business, police said. Responding officers arrested the suspect about 6 p.m. for investigation of burglary.
