Motorcycle officer injured in freeway accident near Waikele
A Honolulu motorcycle police officer was injured this morning in a crash on H-1 Freeway westbound, near the entrance to the Zipper lane near the Waikele off-ramp, police said.
A car hit the motorcycle about 6 a.m., police said.
The officer was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
