A 25-year-old Punchbowl man, who already faces two court dates on charges of abusing a family member and violating a restraining order, has been charged with four other violations including unlawful imprisonment of a woman.

Grant Moniz Jr. was arrested Monday after he allegedly violated a protective order and entered the car of a 23-year-old woman Feb. 22 in Nuuanu. Police said Moniz prevented his victim from calling the police and leaving the car.

Moniz was charged with violating a protective order, interference with reporting and emergency, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and unlawful imprisonment. His bail was set at $3,000.

Moniz also is scheduled to go on trial March 12 for abuse of a family or household member and May 14 for a temporary restraining order violation.

It is not known if the same woman is involved in the three incidents. The victim in the Feb. 22 incident was not identified by police.
