Golf cart death ruled accidental due to ‘multiple traumatic’ injuries
The Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death of a 74-year-old Japanese visitor Wednesday was accidental and due to “multiple traumatic” injuries caused by a golf cart accident at the Waialae Country Club.
The victim, Yoshitada Kambayashi, of Tokyo, was driving the golf cart with a 34-year-old male passenger when the cart fell about 10 feet into a ditch. Paramedics took him in critical condition to a hospital.
Officials said Kambayahsi suffered head trauma and other possible internal injuries in the accident.
