Former University of Hawaii defensive tackle Vaughn Meatoga was claimed off waviers today by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Meatoga was not selected in the recent NFL draft, but signed a free agent contract with the Washington Redskins. He participated in the Redskins’ rookie camp this past weekend, but was released on Sunday.
Meatoga was put on waivers on Monday and was claimed today. He projected to compete at defensive tackle for the Bengals, who run a 4-3 scheme.
