Fire scorches Hawaii island restaurant
Hawaii County Fire officials said a fire caused an estimated $150,000 worth of damage to Banjy’s Paradise Bar and Grill, located at 68-1792 Melia St.
A fire destroyed the kitchen at Banjy’s Paradise Bar and Grill in the Waikoloa Village Monday morning.
Hawaii County Fire officials said the fire, which was reported at 6:16 a.m., caused an estimated $150,000 worth of damage to the restaurant’s kitchen located at 68-1792 Melia St. The fire was contained to the kitchen area and was brought under control by 6:50 a.m.
