Former M Nightclub co-owner Michael Miske this morning pleaded not guilty to second-degree assault stemming from a Dec. 15 incident.
His Circuit Court trial was scheduled for the week of July 29. Miske posted $350,000 bail. He also is charged with criminal property damage.
Also scheduled to appear before Circuit Judge Michael Wilson for the same incident was John Stancil, 25. Stancil was arrested on suspicion of second- and third-degree assault. He also entered a plea of not guilty today for the Dec. 15 assault charges.
Miske, 39, is also scheduled for trial July 1 on a second-degree assault charge for allegedly assaulting Washington Redskins tackle Trent Williams at the M Nightclub on Jan. 25, two days before the NFL Pro Bowl. Miske and Stancil were also arrested after the Jan. 25 incident in which Williams was injured.
In the Dec. 15 incident, police said, Stancil and Miske allegedly assaulted a 40-year-old man at 3:45 a.m., causing substantial bodily injury. When a 41-year-old woman tried to intervene, Stancil allegedly assaulted and injured her.
The criminal property damage charge against Miske is for allegedly causing $1,500 worth of damage to items belonging to the 40-year-old man. Police did not specify what the items were, but said it was not an automobile. The incident occurred in Kakaako and not at the nightclub, police said.
Cydney Chu, spokeswoman for the M Nightclub, said Miske sold his share of the nightclub to Jason Yokoyama shortly after the January incident at the nightclub.
