Unresponsive swimmer rescued at Queen’s Beach in critical condition
Lifeguards at Queen’s Surf Beach in Waikiki found an unresponsive swimmer about 35 yards offshore at about 12:15 p.m., according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
Ocean Safety initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation until paramedics arrived on the scene and took over patient care for the man, believed to be 40 to 50 years old.
Paramedics transported the patient in critical condition to an area hospital.
