Vegas police: Playstation theft behind kidnap charges
LAS VEGAS >> Two people have been indicted in Las Vegas for allegedly binding a woman to a chair for six hours and threatening to kill her if someone didn’t bring them a Playstation gaming system.
The Las Vegas Sun reports that the two people — Christopher Hunter and Rosa Garcia — are accused of shaving parts of a 30-year-old woman’s head and threatening to “find someone with AIDS to have sex with her.”
A police report released Friday says the woman was forced to take pills and drink alcohol in the Nov. 14 incident. She told police that Garcia threatened to “cut off her head and show it to her children.”
Both Garcia and Hunter were indicted Friday on kidnapping, assault and battery charges.
