UH releases 2014 football schedule
For the first time in its 105-year football history, the University of Hawaii will not close its regular season schedule at home.
Meanwhile, the Rainbow Warriors will play three of their last four games on the road in the Mountain West Conference, according to the 13-game 2014 conference schedule announced on Thursday.
The ‘Bows will play at Colorado State Nov. 8, at San Jose State Nov. 15, and close at Fresno State Nov. 29 sandwiched around a Nov. 22 game against Nevada-Las Vegas at Aloha Stadium.
UH did, however, draw a September open date thereby avoiding the possibility of three consecutive road games.
UH was already scheduled to play non-conference games at Colorado Sept. 20 and Oct. 4 at Rice in Houston.
UH opens conference play Oct. 11 with Wyoming at Aloha Stadium.
