A 27-year-old man is facing a burglary charge after allegedly striking his sleeping roommate in the face Saturday in Moiliili.
The 30-year-old victim was sleeping in his room with the door closed and secured when the younger man entered and struck him in the face about 1:15 a.m., police said. The victim sustained cuts and swelling to his face.
Shortly afterward, officers found the suspect still inside the Citron Street home and arrested him for investigation of first-degree burglary.
