Board of Water Supply crews worked to repair a water main on Nimitz between Alakea St. and Punchbowl St.

A Board of Water Supply crew finished repairs on a broken 12-inch water main near Aloha Tower on Sunday morning, a BWS spokeswoman said.

All lanes are now open.

The main break was initially reported as a leak at about 2 a.m. Saturday.

One Koko Head- and one Ewa-bound lane on Ala Moana Boulevard were closed between Alakea and Punchbowl streets for the repairs.

Two customers were without water. Service was restored around midnight, the spokeswoman said.

The main was first installed in 1900.
