Warning signs posted after shark seen off Waikiki Beach

Lifeguards posted warning signs at Queen’s Beach in Waikiki after a confirmed sighting of a 7-foot gray reef shark about 20 yards offshore.
Beachgoers were notified and the signs were posted after the shark was spotted at about 4 p.m. Sunday, a spokeswoman for the Ocean Safety Division said.
The signs were taken down by Monday morning.
