Honolulu police and fire trucks respond to a critical accident on Middle Street Tuesday morning near the Kalihi Transit Center.
A 56-year-old man died Tuesday after his truck crashed into a wall in Kalihi.
Paramedics took the man to the hospital in extremely critical condition following the crash about 4:45 a.m. near the Kalihi Transit Center, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
Police said the man died at the Queen’s Medical Center.
Police closed Middle Street between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway until about 6:15 a.m. while they investigated.
