Bodysurfer injured off Kauai dies in Oahu hospital
A 30-year-old man who fell unconscious while bodysurfing off Kauai on Monday died at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu.
Police said the man was bodysurfing 6:20 p.m. Monday when he became unresponsive.
He was transported to Queen’s Medical Center, where he died 11:29 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said the cause of death is pending an autopsy.
