H-2 southbound lanes reopened after truck overturns

    The accident was in the southbound lane of the H-2 freeway between Ka Uka off ramp and the Pearl City off-ramp.

Police, fire and paramedics responded to a report of an overturned civilian garbage truck Monday morning on the H-2 freeway.

Fire rescue personnel responded to the accident at 7:27 a.m. in the southbound lane of the H-2 freeway between Ka Uka off ramp and the Pearl City off-ramp.

Fire rescue personnel said the truck driver was able to free himself from the truck and was being treated by paramedics at the accident scene.

No further details were available

Police closed three southbound lanes after the Ka Uka off ramp for three hours.
