A 20-year-old Waikoloa man was arrested Monday after he cut two men with a knife in Waikoloa Village, Hawaii island police said.

At 5 a.m. Monday, police responded to a report of domestic abuse on Makuakane Street and found a man being detained by other people at the scene.

Witnesses said the man threatened a woman with a gun and cut two men.

A 21-year-old Hawi man had a laceration to his arm and a 22-year-old Waikoloa man had a laceration to his leg, police said. Both were treated at the hospital and released.

The suspect was arrested at the scene. Police did not disclose the charges for which the suspect was arrested.
