Kauai inmate fails to return from work furlough

    Kauai County police are looking for Orlando Manguchei after he failed to return from a work furlough Wednesday.

Kauai inmate Orlando Manguchei failed to return from a work furlough Wednesday and is being sought by police.

Manguchei, 43, was living in a transitional home in Kapaa.

He was serving time for terroristic threatening, third-degree promoting a dangerous drug and a parole violation. He was to be released in August. However, Manguchei now will have serve more time on an escape charge.

He is 5 feet 6 inches and weighs 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
