Board of Water Supply crews are fixing a 12-inch water main break on Aala Street near the North Kukui Street intersection.
Aala Street between North Kukui Street and Vineyard Boulevard is closed as crews work to repair the main and restore the roadway.
The work is expected to continue throughout Wednesday.
No customers are without water.
The break was reported at about 5:45 a.m.
The main was originally installed in 1966.
