Man pulled from Makaha waters dies at hospital
An autopsy of a 55-year-old man pulled from waters off Turtle Beach on Thursday evening confirmed that the man died from accidental drowning, according to the city Medical Examiner’s Office.
The case previously had been classified an unattended death.
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was found shortly after 6 p.m.
He was transported in critical condition to a hospital, where he later died.
