Woman charged after fleeing police during arrest in Waikiki
A 42-year-woman was charged with fleeing police during an arrest in Waikiki.
Lisa Broderick, who does not have an address, was charged Friday with second-degree escape.
Her bail was set at $25,000.
Police said Broderick had been arrested for harassment and placed in a transport vehicle about 9:05 p.m. Thursday.
Broderick managed to exit from the vehicle and flee a short distance before officers apprehended her, police said.
She was arrested at Paoakalani and Kalakaua avenues near Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel.
