Board of Water Supply crews completed repairs Thursday morning on an 8-inch water main that broke in Waikiki Wednesday.
The pipe broke on Helumoa Road off the busy Waikiki Beach Walk area on Lewers Street at about noon Wednesday and repairs were completed by about 9 a.m.
A bypass kept water flowing to customers in the area.
The Board of Water Supply said the cast iron main was installed in 1971.
