Sei Young Kim’s round of 2-under par 70 on Friday was enough to give the LPGA Tour rookie a one-shot lead going into the final round of the Lotte Championship.

Kim carded two birdies on Ko Olina Golf Club’s front nine and played the back at even par with three birdies against three bogeys to move to 12 under for the tournament.

I.K. Kim enters Saturday’s final round at 11 under after finishing with a 1-under 71 on Friday. Inbee Park, the third-ranked player in the world, remained near the top of the leaderboard with a 3-under 69 and is two shots out of the lead.

The trio will tee off at 12:05 p.m. in Saturday’s final group.

Defending champion Michelle Wie shot a 1-over 73 in the third round to tie for eighth at 4 under. She slipped back with back-to-back bogeys on the third and fourth holes, battled back to even par for the day with consecutive birdies on 14 and 15, but bogeyed No. 17.

“Up and down day. … I felt like I made a lot of birdies, just made a couple stupid errors,” Wie said. “Hopefully tomorrow I can go out there and shoot lights out.”

Wie will start the final round at 11:29 a.m. Saturday with Morgan Pressel and Beatriz Recari.
