A house fire at 9th and Kaimuki Avenues has led to the closure of several streets in the area.
An elderly man who was in a home in Kaimuki that caught fire Wednesday is in stable condition.
Emergency Medical Services personnel said the man, 89, was in the residence at 925 9th Avenue when the fire occurred about 11:35 a.m. He was treated by paramedics.
Streets in Kaimuki near 9th and Kaimuki Avenues were closed due to the fire, but reopened about 1:08 p.m.
