Police look for suspect in attempted bank robbery
Honolulu police are asking the public’s assistance is identifying and locating a man wanted for an attempted bank robbery at Central Pacific Bank’s Pearl City branch on Friday.
According to police, the suspect entered the bank about 2:50 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. After being questions by the teller, the man fled on a moped on Makolu Street.
The suspect is described as local, age 20 to 30, 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-8, approximately 200 pounds with short black hair. He was wearing an orange long-sleeve shirt, black shorts, a black baseball cap and boots.
