Fire destroys garage in Kailua-Kona
Hawaii County fire officials are investigating what caused a fire that destroyed a wood frame garage Tuesday night in Kona.
The fire was reported at 10:58 p.m. at Awalua Place in Kailua-Kona. No one was injured.
The fire was brought under control at 11:20 p.m.
Damage was estimated at $100,000.
