Farrington Highway in Waianae reopened after water main break
All lanes of Farrington Highway near Guard Street were reopened at approximately 1:30 p.m. Board of Water Supply crews completed repairs to a leaking valve on a water main and restored water service to more than 100 customers in Waianae.
The leak, reported about midnight Sunday, resulted in the closure of one westbound lane of Farrington Highway near Guard Street as crews worked to make repairs on the 16-inch water main. A water wagon was dispatched to 85-041 Kapuni Street to provide water to the 108 affected customers.
