More than 3,000 customers were without power for about an hour in Nanakuli, according to Hawaiian Electric Co.

The outage happened about 5:30 p.m. HECO reported that the electricity was restored about 6:30 p.m.

HECO spokesman Darren Pai said the cause was unconfirmed, but bad weather may have been a factor with power lines in the area.
