Bondage author accused of bringing teen to Oklahoma for sex

LAWTON, Okla. » The author of several books about bondage is charged with taking a 17-year-old girl from New York to Oklahoma for sex.

An FBI affidavit says 59-year-old Charles Michael Segaloff of Lawton traveled to Greenwich, New York, after the girl contacted him about his books and the bondage lifestyle.

New York State Police later received a report that the girl was missing.

Segaloff is charged with travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct. He’s being held pending a federal court hearing on Monday.

Segaloff’s attorney, Assistant Federal Public Defender Julia Summers, hasn’t responded Wednesday to email and telephone requests for comment.

The affidavit says Segaloff uses the pen name Michael Makai. Amazon.com lists him as the author of “Domination & Submission: The BDSM Relationship Handbook” and other similar books.

She is reported as missing? The article failed to indicate he actually transported her willingly or otherwise! Failed to see the connections unless my eyes are reading another page? Took my basic training at the Field Artillery Training Center at Fort Sill located in close proximity to Lawton back in 1944/45.
