Hawaii County police charged a 29-year-old Keaau man Thursday in connection with a pair of robberies in Hilo.

According to police, Dustin Faris entered a vehicle in a parking lot and ordered the 19-year-old male driver to go to two different stores to withdraw cash from automated teller machines Thursday morning.

Police arrested Faris outside the second store.

Faris was charged with second-degree robbery and first-degree unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle. His bail was set at $7,000.
