Online postings, classmates point to suspects in Punchbowl school graffiti case
Online postings regarding graffiti sprayed on the buildings of Kawananakoa Middle School this week have led to the arrest of three juveniles who attend the school.
Multiple buildings at Kawananakoa were vandalized Tuesday and Wednesday nights, police said.
The arrest occurred Thursday after Kawananakoa students reported online posts regarding the graffiti and their classmates, and gave the information to school officials.
The suspected students were then brought in to speak to the administration. Police arrested three juveniles for second-degree criminal property damage .
Police did not release their genders or ages. The case will be handled by the Family Court and no other details will be released because the suspects are minors.

Make the parent(s) buy and paint over the damage?
Make the parents buy and the vandals clean and paint over their damage. Kudos to the kids who gave the info. to the officials.
And after they clean up their mess, have the wrongdoers appear at an assembly of the entire school so they can apologize in person for what they’ve done, and tell their classmates why it was wrong to do what they did.
Bt… This is not Japan. Criminals have rights in America.
Politicians and bankers do far, far worse and we don’t demand they apologize or fix their wrong doings. Why so tough on these students?
Because that’s where the thinking that they can get away with it starts!
agree
The parents are just as much of a loser as the kids are.
do you know the parents?
Like I shook hands with all ten billion people on this planet.
Judging by your comment, you don’t have kids do you? Just making an assumption and I may be wrong…sort of like your assumption.
Don’t judge allie. She is only 20 years old. Still learning about life.
Huh? What are you talking about, she was commenting on Mike’s comment. What assumption are you talking about?

I think the school and some students painted over it and cleaned what they could the very next day.
Yeah. White it out for the next graffiti artist.
