NASHVILLE, Tenn. » Tennessee coach Mike Mularkey has hired three assistants adding Russ Grimm as his offensive line coach, Deshea Townsend for the secondary and Steve Jackson as assistant secondary coach.

The Titans announced the additions today.

Grimm has not coached since 2012 when he finished up six seasons as assistant head coach with the offensive line in Arizona. He also coached the offensive line in Pittsburgh where he worked with Mularkey and Washington where he started coaching in 1992 overseeing the Redskins’ tight ends. A four-year starter in college at Alabama, Townsend played in 191 games in the NFL, including six seasons in Pittsburgh for Titans defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau.
