Man arrested after fatal fight in Kakaako

A 39-year-old homeless man faces a manslaughter charge after the man he was fighting with died at the Keehi Boat Harbor Thursday afternoon.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and several outstanding warrants at Queen’s Medical Center just after 5:30 p.m., several hours after the fight occurred, police said.

No other details were immediately available.

    Yikes! There are some very scary homeless people out there. Desperate or not fully there in mind leads to some bad incidents. Mind you I’m not saying “all” homeless people are bad but some are.

    Wow, even though I grew up on the mainland I had no idea that Kakaako was located at the Keehi Boat Harbor! Hopefully, they change all of the maps to reflect this change. I better notify googlemaps, too.

    Had HPD done their job and taken this guy in on those outstanding warrents the deceased would likely be alive today.
