Kahala Avenue lanes reopened after water main break
A broken hydrant caused police to close both lanes of Kahala Avenue Wednesday afternoon as crews repaired a portion of the roadway.
However, the lanes in the 4700 block of Kahala Avenue between Pueo and Koloa streets were reopened to traffic this morning.
The closure was reported just after 1 p.m.

Mufi made a terrible mistake building an outdated, wrong-routed rail when our sewers, water systems, bridges and highways need so much expensive repair. Even rich Kahala is not safe from it.
It was no “mistake”; those of us who were in his offices when he signed the “Agreements”, listened to his defense: “..what could I do (?), “The Unions are on my back”… End of story…
(..oh yeah, he can also sing Karaoke to all the old Nipponese ladies.. (Sometimes, VOTES COME CHEAP))
Makes you wonder about BWS. Some months 6000, some months, 9000. Same house, same two people.
