Hawaii County police have released the husband of a 62-year-old Kailua-Kona woman who was fatally shot Thursday.

The 70-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, but was released at 2:15 p.m. today pending further investigation.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday to determine cause of death for Marsha Mansker.

Police responded to a 7:11 a.m. call Thursday. Police officers found Mansker dead with a gunshot wound to the head insider her home in the Kona Highlands subdivision.
